The Permits Office of the Harris County's Office of the County Engineer is conducting a survey Friday, December 20, 2024 to Friday, January 10, 2025 to gather insights into the application experience during the permit application process. Effective immediately, the Harris County Permits Office will not be accepting or processing cash payments for all permit or inspection fees, in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Customers may pay by check at the cashier's window or by credit card in-person at the kiosk located in the Permits Office Lobby at 1111 Fannin St. Houston, TX 77002. Customers may also pay by credit card online at https://epermits.harriscountytx.gov
